Duane Poncy is a long time resident of Bend, Oregon. He graduated from Bend Senior High School in 1966. He became a founding member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) in 1982, and is a life-long activist, writer, and editor. He founded Rainy Nights Press in 2003 with his wife, Patricia J McLean, with whom he’s co-authored four novels. In 2012, they co-founded Elohi Gadugi Journal and for four years ran the Readings at Milepost 5 series, in Portland, Oregon.
Patricia J McLean is a native of Prineville, Oregon. She co-founded Rainy Nights Press in 2003 with Duane Poncy. In 2012, they also co-founded Elohi Gadugi Journal and for four years ran the Readings at Milepost 5 series, in Portland, Oregon.
